On-site recycled water system supply volume
On-site recycled water systems are designed specifically for the development. You will need to ask the hydraulic engineer designing the system for your development to estimate the likely average daily volume of water that will be produced by the system.
BASIX calculations will assume that an on-site recycled/alternative water system collects greywater ONLY (excluding kitchen wastewater). This will limit the water supply volume available based on the greywater sources in the development. Any volume entered beyond this amount will not be calculated.
If your development will be recycling blackwater or if you plan to access to additional waste water (such as through sewer mining or access to commercial wastewater) you will need to apply to have an adjustment made to your data.
